From a young age, I discovered a deep, innate talent for capturing the likeness and intricate details of animals in my artwork. I remember as a child using the VHS tapes of my Disney movies and pausing on certain frames so I could copy the characters I liked into my sketchbook. I would also sometimes copy from photos in my animal books as well. The passion for animals has always ran deep for me.

Being a huge animal lover, it feels like a beautiful alignment of my passions to blend my artistry with my love for these amazing beings. What truly moves me, however, is when I have the opportunity to paint portraits of beloved pets who have passed away. In those moments, I realize the profound impact my art can have on their owners. It’s not just about creating a likeness; it’s about offering a way to keep the memory of their cherished companions alive. To know that I can give someone a tangible reminder of the love they shared, a lasting tribute to their bond, is a powerful gift that fills me with purpose. I am deeply grateful for the chance to be part of such a meaningful process.

As I continue to explore new art techniques, I feel a profound sense of growth, constantly evolving my process to better convey the emotions and stories behind each pet I portray. I'm just going to have fun with the process and keep exploring different ideas and concepts with my art. I'm excited to see where this path may lead. I hope you can join me!
